Post-arrival Checklist
After You Arrive
Now you are at TUOMS gates. The steps bellow will help you acclimate to campus and have a smooth transition.   
 
1- Take Your Pervasive Code
Any international individual intending to live, study, work, etc.in Iran needs to have a 12 digit code called Pervasive Code or FIDA Code. It is essential for receiving various services such as educational, business, banking services, getting driving license, etc. to get your FIDA Code click here. (https://faragir-code.ir/home/)
 
2- Sort out your finances and bank account
As an international student you can open a bank account in Iran. To make the process easier please gather the needed documents including:
• Your passport
• Enrolment certificate stamped and signed by TUOMS (Educational Affairs Office of TUOMS will provide your enrolment certificate.)
• Your residence permit (Students Affairs Office of TUOMS will provide your residence permit.)

 3- Activate Cellular Phone Service
You can purchase a SIM card at borders upon entering the country or you may buy it from the telecommunication agencies inside the cities. The agency requires you to give a passport copy and also provide a valid address.

4- Start TUOMS Registration Process
An essential part of being a student of the University is the annual completion of registration. You will need to complete the registration process to enroll in your program. This includes paying your fees, choosing your subjects and getting your student card.  
To accomplish the registration process you need to refer to Educational Affairs Office in person on announced registration dates. The registration date and deadline for each semester will be stated in your acceptance letter.  It is important to have registration documents with you.

5- Arrange your Accommodation
Our Students Affairs Office will help you to accomplish your accommodation process. The process includes on- campus housing / university accommodation, getting dinning program and issuing the resident permit.
