Dr. Sameen Siddiqi, WHO representative in Iran, visited National Public-health Management Center (NPMC) of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and got a report of the activities fulfilled in this center as a WHO-collaborating center.
The meeting which was hosted by Dr. Mohammad Hossein Somi (TUOMS Chancellor), Dr. Jafar Sadegh Tabrizi (Vice Chancellor for Health), Dr. Vahid Zamanzadeh (Head of NPMC) and a number of NPMC authorities concentrated on introducing the center and giving a brief report of the center’s joint activities with WHO.
Meanwhile, Dr. Siddiqi thanked the authorities of the center and expressed that most of the activities fulfilled in NPMC are among the priorities of WHO office in Iran. He also requested the center to collaborate with WHO office in Iran in such projects as: running training courses on hospital administration, hospital accreditation system, and inter-sectoral participation in health system.
