International Child Neurology Congress Debuts at TUOMS

 The 16th National and 3rd International Child Neurology Congress started at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) with the participation of UNICEF representative, local and international specialists from 11-13 September, 2016.

The theme of the congress is "Developmental Delay in Children: Practical Approach for Developing Countries" and the congress is held with the collaboration of Iranian Child Neurology Society (ICNS) and International Child Neurology Association (ICNA).

Dr. Will Parks, UNICEF representative in Iran, along with a number of pediatricians and specialists from the USA, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon and Turkey attended the congress and gave their scientific lectures. Also, as part of the panel activities, the workshop on “Care for Child Development” was held in order to improve the knowledge on CCD.

Meanwhile, Dr. John Albert Wray, developmental pediatrician and clinical associate professor of the University of Western Australia was appointed as the honorary professor of TUOMS.
