The Sixth Meeting of World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centers
The sixth meeting of WHO collaborating centers was held by General Office of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health on “the role of WHO collaborating centers during COVID-19
”
The virtual meeting was held on September 13, 2020 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology, Vice-Chancellor for Education and General Director of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Representative of the World Health Organization in Iran, Director of Research and Information of the Regional Office of the
World Health Organization
, Secretariat of Collaborating Centers, Heads of Active Collaborating Centers, Heads of Centers with the experience of non-reappointment and Heads of Active Research Centers with the potential of cooperating with WHO participated in this video conference via Skype.
The collaborating centers reported their performance during last years and talked about their upcoming programs especially during
COVID-19
. Dr. Mahmoud Yousefi as the representative of
National Public Health Management Center
(NPMC) participated this virtual video conference and explained the performance and plans of the center especially international virtual training course (Health Systems Strengthening towards Universal Health Coverage and Health Security-Learnings from COVID-19) which was highly acclaimed by the participants.
