A Group of Professors from Turkey, Germany, and Turkmenistan Visited TUOMS for Mutual Collaboration
The visiting professors were from different fields including Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Dentistry, Medicine Engineering, Radiation Oncology and Nursery and came to Tabriz from Turkey, Germany, and Turkmenistan. Four of these doctors were originally from Iran.
Dr. Sasani, leader and organizer of the program, visited Dr. Somi and a number of officials from various faculties of the university and analyzed the collaborative aspects. Moreover, the accompanying professors met some academic members and Faculty Deans of the related fields and expressed their ideas on how to improve scientific bonds with the university.
Finally, after visiting the associated departments of the university and related medical groups of Imam Reza and Shahid Madani hospitals, there was a concluding meeting in Dr. Somi's office. In this meeting Dr. Somi asked for organizing scientific workshops and taking practical measurements in an attempt to convert theory to practice. He also asked the International Relations Office of the university to increase the range of international ties and facilitate the process of student admission from Turkmenistan. There were also some primary talks regarding such collaborative aspects as fellowship programs, student admission, and experience exchange of academic members.
