5-day Symposium on "Disease and Population-based Registry and Biobanking" held at TUOMS

Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) held a 5-day symposium on "Disease and Population-based Registry and Biobanking" at the Conference Hall of NPMC from 29 September to 3 October, 2015.

The symposium, which was attended by 6 high-profile scholars from University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) and other experts from TUOMS, was a great opportunity to extend mutual scientific collaborations and share knowledge on different disciplines. Moreover, the invited scholars visited Imam Reza Hospital, Sina Hospital, and Azar Cohort Center in Khameneh. Finally, 4 MOUs were signed between different departments of the two sides.

The workshop included such titles as: clinical based biobanks: principals and ethics, UMCG based biobanks (local and national PSI) and future plans, patient based disease registry in TUOMS, and registry network of psychiatric disorders in the Netherlands and UMCG – Mind-lines.
