Paramedical SchoolThis school was established in 1986. Previously, other educational units of the university - such as the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Laboratory Sciences, the Technical school, and the Higher School of Dental and Mouth Hygiene - offered paramedical courses. All paramedical courses held in other departments have now been transferred to the School of Paramedical Sciences. As well as holding courses during the day, evening courses are also offered.

Duration of study:
The minimum period required to complete the Associate in sciences level and non-continuous B.S. level course is four semesters, and eight semesters for B.S courses.
Admission Requirements:Admission of students to A.S and B.S. level courses is done through the university entrance examination. Students applying for admission to the non-continuous B.S. course should have an Associate certificate in this field.
Training courses: Students of this school complete internships and externships periods; externships involve knowledge of theoretical and practical subject matters including general, special and basic topics.

ob and Education Opportunities:After graduation, students can continue their studies at a higher level. Those students who do not wish to continue their studies can work as technicians and experts in private and governmental organizations such as hospitals, radiology centres and laboratories.
Requirements for evening courses:The admission requirements for evening courses are the same as for regular courses, except that the students have to pay tuition fees for their theoretical and practical subject matters.

The library is connected to Medline and is equipped with other computer facilities. It also has a collection of about 1000 Persian books, on topics such as Persian literature, Islamic themes, social sciences, history and culture. An audiovisual unit is equipped with educational aids and devices such as a video, television, overhead projector, slide projector, cameras, cassettes, CDs and educational films. This department also has a Xerox centre, where it is possible to prepare educational pamphlets.
