AccommodationThe TUOMS Housing Office provides a number of residential facilities. The dormitories may be either on or off-campus and students are permitted to choose a dormitory according to their preferences. The university possesses 7 resident complexes of which 738 rooms are allotted to single students and 33 to married students. The management and provision of dormitory facilities is the responsibility of staff at the TUOMS Housing Office. Convenient transport from the dormitories to the university and vice versa is available for students at regular intervals.

* Few single units are available. Student Welfare and Financial AidsThis office is responsible for student welfare and is in charge of providing funds for students who need financial assistance. It offers different kind of loan schemes, remedial services, health insurance, book coupons and pedagogic aids.

Office for Self ServicesThe Office for nutritional affairs provides and supervises the following student services: a central self-service facility, situated on the university campus, providing lunch and dinner; a self-service at the Nursing school offering lunch and dinner; and facilities at the Dentistry school providing similar services for its students.
Students’ Health-Treatment and Counseling Centre
This centre has been providing regular services to students since 1985. A group of distinguished specialists is available from 7.am to 5.pm during the weekdays. Students can get advice on many issues, including emotional, behavioral, personality, marriage, educational, legal, family, religious and economic matters as well as psychiatric counseling.
Sport and Recreational Facilities The Physical Education unit of the university is active in the following areas:
Training Courses: This unit publishes booklets about different athletic pursuits and also provides books, magazines and newspapers. In the course of training, students can choose one of their favorite sports, for example badminton, football, fitness, volleyball, track and field, table tennis or karate. Theoretical classes are held for students who are not involved in practical activities. Some of the extra-curricular activities include training, supervising games, distributing prizes, inter-college matches and league matches. General competitions are part of the extra-curricular activities of the University Physical Education Unit.
Gymnasiums:The University has a number of indoor and outdoor sport complexes where all sorts of sports such as volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton, wrestling, judo and table tennis are played. An on-campus multi-purpose gymnasium also exists, which can accommodate up to 2000 spectators. A football field is also located at Razi Hospital. The sports ground at Kousar Dorm includes a basketball and volleyball field. Also there is an Aquatic center at Sina Hospital.
Office for Cultural Affairs and Artistic Activities: The objective of this office is to florish cultural talent and accountability of the students. It creates a suitable foundation for the mental and artistic development of students, and the promotion of Islamic culture in an academic environment. The office is also responsible for the followings: Holding competitions, cultural camps, and religious celebrations and mournings Audio-visual activities, including the preparation of tapes Publishing activities Supervising praying halls Communicating with other cultural offices Holding fairs and exhibitions Organizing student art groups, and establishing and supervising educational, artistic, technical and calligraphy classes Arranging recreational programmes and scientific trips for students Participating in student committees, conferences and seminar
